Eşlenen Geleneksel ve Tamamlayıcı Ölçme Araçlarının Ortaokul Öğrencilerinin Akademik Başarılarını Yordaması

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı; 'Ses ve Özellikleri' ünitesinde geleneksel ve tamamlayıcı ölçme araçlarını ölçmeyi hedefledikleri öğrenme alanları doğrultusunda birbirleri ile eşlemek ve bu ölçme araçlarının eşlenmesi sonunda öğrencilerin akademik başarılarını yordamaktır. Yürütülen çalışmanın araştırma grubunu; 2022-2023 eğitim öğretim yılında Şanlıurfa'nın Karaköprü ilçesinden seçilen iki ortaokulda öğrenim gören, 6. sınıf fen bilimleri dersini alan, 4 şubede öğrenim gören, 27 kız ve 46 erkek öğrenci olmak üzere toplam 73 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen doğru yanlış testi, tanılayıcı dallanmış ağaç tekniği, çoktan seçmeli test, yapılandırılmış grid tekniği, uzun cevaplı yazılı yoklama testi ve kelime ilişkilendirme testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın bulgularına göre; doğru yanlış testi ve tanılayıcı dallanmış ağaç tekniği arasında anlamlı farklılık çıkmamış; çoktan seçmeli test ile yapılandırılmış grid tekniği arasında yapılandırılmış grid lehine anlamlı farklılık çıkmış, uzun cevaplı yazılı yoklama testi ile kelime ilişkilendirme testinin sonuçları ise birbiriyle uyumluluk göstermiştir. İlerde bu alanda yapılacak olan çalışmalar için öneri olarak; ölçme araçlarının farklı değişkenler açısından uyumuna bakılabilir. Ayrıca örneklem sayısı daha fazla olan bir grupla çalışma yürütülerek daha geniş ölçekli sonuçlar elde edilmesi de elde edilen sonuçların öğrencilerin akademik başarısını yordamayı güçlendirecektir.The aim of this study is to match traditional and supplementary measurement tools in the 'Sound and Its Features' unit in line with the learning areas they aim to measure and to predict the academic achievement of the students as a result of matching these measurement tools. The research group of the conducted study consists of a total of 73 students, 27 female students and 46 male students studying in 4 branches, taking 6th grade science course in two selected secondary schools in Karaköprü district of Şanlıurfa in the 2022-2023 academic year. In the study, true false test, diagnostic branched tree test, multiple choice test, structured grid test, long answer written examination test and word association test developed by the researcher were used as data collection tools. According to the findings of the study; no significant difference was found between the true false test and the diagnostic branched tree test; There was a significant difference between the multiple choice test and the structured grid test in favor of the structured grid, and the results of the long-answer written examination test and the word association test were consistent with each other. As a suggestion for future studies in this field; the compatibility of the measurement tools in terms of different variables can be examined. In addition, conducting a study with a larger study group or a group with a larger sample size and obtaining larger-scale results will strengthen the prediction of the students' academic success.
