Abstract
Kur'an, Allah'ın insanlığa gönderdiği son vahiydir.
The Qur'an is the last revelation sent by Allah to humanity. It has the characteristics of divinity in terms of wording and meaning. The language of the first addressees was sent in Arabic. It is also a masterpiece of the Arabic language in terms of rhetoric. Every effort should be made to properly understand the Qur'an, which has these characteristics. One of the Qur'an's expression styles is representation or narration through parables. This narrative brings abstract subjects closer to minds with concrete examples and analogies and lays the groundwork for easier understanding. Parables, which are a type of statement, are given a lot of place in the Qur'an. This style of expression has become extremely important for the correct understanding of the Qur'an. In this study, Ahmed Ibn Acîbe's approach to the parables in the Qur'an in Bahru'l-Madid tafsir, which he created by complying with the conditions of both literal and symbolic tafsir, was analyzed. In the first chapter, information about the life, teachers and commentary of Ahmed Ibn Acîbe, the author of Bahru'l-Madid commentary, is given. In the second part, after explaining the concept of parable, it has been examined how the Qur'anic parables are interpreted in Bahru'l-Madid's interpretation. In this context, firstly, the parables were grouped in terms of their subjects, then the apparent and symbolic meanings of each verse were mentioned. As a result, under the heading of evaluation, the ways in which the parables related to the subject are handled in terms of symbolic tafsir have been evaluated.
