Osmanlı Döneminde Pratik Arapça Öğretimine Mükâlemetü’l-‘Arabî ve’t-Türkî Adlı Eser Özelinde Genel Bir Bakış

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Osmanlı döneminde pratik Arapça öğretimi farklı açılardan incelenmesi ile İsâ Ruhî Şirvanî’nin Mükâlemetü’l-‘Arabî ve’t-Türkî adlı eseri olarak iki temel konu üzerinde durulmuştur. Giriş hariç iki bölüm ve sonuçtan oluşan bu çalışmanın yönteminin belirlenmesinde Osmanlı döneminde pratik Arapça’ya yönelik çalışmaların teorideki gibi geniş kapsamlı olmaması önemli rol oynamıştır. Öncelikle Osmanlı döneminde Arapça eğitimine verilen önem ve medreselerde okutulan kitaplar hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Sonrasında pratik Arapça konusu ele alınmış ve modernleşmeyle birlikte pratik konuşmaya yönelik eserler zikredilmiştir. Ardından hayatı hakkında çok fazla bilgiye ulaşamadığımız Îsâ Ruhî Şirvanî’nin, pratik Arapça’da yaşanan zorluğu gidermek amacıyla kaleme aldığı söz konusu eseri tanıtılmıştır. Sonuç kısmında ise konunun genel bir değerlendirmesi yapılarak araştırma sonucunda ulaşılan kanaat ve düşünceler ifade edilmiştir.In this study, two main subjects are focused on, the examination of practical Arabic teaching in the Ottoman period from different perspectives and the work of ʿĪsā Ruhī Shīrvānī called Mukālamāt al-Aʿrabī wa al-Turkī. The fact that the studies on practical Arabic teaching in the Ottoman period were not as comprehensive as in theory plays an important role in determining the method of this study, which consisted of two chapters and the conclusion excluding the introduction. For this reason, first of all, the information is given about the importance which was given to Arabic education in the Ottoman period and the books that was taught in madrasahs. Afterward, the subject of practical Arabic is discussed and works on practical speaking with modernization are mentioned Then, the aforementioned work which the author wrote to eliminate the difficulties experienced in practical Arabic of ʿĪsā Ruhī Shīrvānī, whose life we could not find much information about, is introduced In the conclusion, a general evaluation of the subject is made and the opinions and the conclusion of the study are expressed.
