Abstract
Bu araştırmada bağlanma stilleri, ilişkilere ilişkin bilişsel çarpıtmalar, kişilerarası ilişki tarzları ve kişilik özelliklerinin evlilik uyumunu yordama düzeylerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Trabzon’da yaşayan 423 (Kadın=220, Erkek=203) evli birey oluşturmuştur. Verilerin toplanmasında Kişisel Bilgi Formu, Evlilik Uyumu Ölçeği, Yakın İlişkilerde Yaşantılar Envanteri, İlişkilerle İlgili Bilişsel Çarpıtmalar Ölçeği, Kişilerarası Tarz Ölçeği ve Eysenck Kişilik Anketi kullanılmıştır. Veri analizi için; Spearman Korelasyon Katsayısı ve Çoklu Doğrusal Regresyon Analizi tekniklerinden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda; evlilik uyumu ile kişilik özelliklerinden nörotizm, bağlanma boyutlarından kaçınma ve kaygı, kişilerarası ilişki tarzları alt boyutlarından öfkeli tarz ve küçümseyici alaycı tarz, ilişkilere ilişkin bilişsel çarpıtma alt boyutlarından yakınlıktan kaçınma boyutu arasında anlamlı ilişkiler olduğu bulgulanmıştır. Çoklu regresyon analizi sonuçları; kişilik özelliklerinden nörotizmin ve bağlanma boyutlarından kaçınmanın ve boşanmayı düşünmüş olup olmamanın evlilik uyumunu yordadığını, ancak dışa dönüklüğün, psikotikliğin, kaygının, kişilerarası ilişki tarzlarının, ilişkilere ilişkin bilişsel çarpıtmaların ve çocuk sahibi olup olmama durumunun evlilik uyumunu yordamadığını göstermiştir.
In this research the aim was to investigate the prediction levels of attachment styles, cognitive distortions about relationships, interpersonal relationship styles and personality traits for marital adjustment. The study group for the research comprised 423 married individuals (female=220, male=203) living in Trabzon. A personal information form, marital adjustment scale, experiences in close relationships inventory, interpersonal cognitive distortions scale, interpersonal style scale and Eysenck personality questionnaire were used to collect data. The Spearman correlation coefficient and multiple linear regression analysis techniques were used for data analysis. The results of the research found that there were significant correlations between marital adjustment and the personality trait of neuroticism, the attachment dimensions of avoidance and anxiety, the interpersonal relationship style sub-dimensions of anger and dismissive contemptuous and the interpersonal cognitive distortion sub-dimension of avoiding intimacy. Multiple regression analysis results showed the personality trait of neuroticism and attachment style of avoidance and whether divorce was considered or not predicted marital adjustment. However, extraversion, psychosis, anxiety, interpersonal relationship styles, cognitive distortions about relationships and having children or not did not predict marital adjustment.
