İlkokullarda Eğitim Alan Yabancı Uyruklu Öğrenciler ile İlgili Yapılan Akademik Çalışmalar Üzerine Bir İnceleme

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, 2012-2020 yılları arasında ülkemizdeki ilkokullarda eğitim alan yabancı uyruklu öğrenciler ile ilgili yürütülen bilimsel çalışmaların metodolojik ve betimsel analizidir. İlkokul kademesinde olan yabancı uyruklu öğrenciler ile ilgili yürütülen akademik çalışmaların incelenmesinin mevcut durumu görme, yeni çalışmalara ışık tutma ve ülkemizdeki yabancı uyruklu öğrencilere verilen eğitim hizmetlerinin niteliğinin arttırılması açısından faydalı olabileceği düşünülmektedir. Bu çalışmanın örneklemini, araştırmanın başlatıldığı tarih itibariyle, erişilen veri tabanlarında (Google Akademik, Sobiad, Ulakbim, Dergipark, Academia, ResearchGate, Educational Resources Information Center (ERIC) ve Taylor & Francis Online) ulaşılan ve çalışmanın amacına uygun 73 bilimsel makale oluşturmuştur. Verilerin toplanmasında doküman incelemesi tekniği kullanılmıştır. Erişilen veri tabanlarında, çalışma kapsamında önceden belirlenen ölçütleri karşılayan bütün makaleler incelenmiştir. Ulaşılan makalelerin belirlenen kriterlere uygun tasnifi amacıyla çizelge oluşturulmuştur. Bu çizelgede bulunan bölümler; çalışmanın adı, yayın yılı, yayınlandığı dergi, anahtar kelimeler, amaç, yaklaşım, model, örneklem, veri toplama aracı, sonuç ve önerilerdir. Veriler, içerik analizi yöntemiyle analiz edilip çalışmalar betimlenmiştir. Araştırma sonuçları en fazla çalışmanın 2020 yılında yapıldığını göstermiştir. Çalışmalarda en çok nitel araştırma yaklaşımının tercih edildiği, araştırma modeli olarak en fazla durum çalışması (case study) ve fenomenoloji (olgubilim) yönteminin kullanıldığı tespit edilmiştir. En çok öğretmenlerle çalışıldığı ve veri toplama aracı olarak daha çok görüşme formu tercih edildiği görülmüştür. İncelenen araştırmalar, çoğunlukla sorun tespit etmek ve çözüm önerisi sunmak amacıyla yürütülmüştür. Makalelerde en çok kullanılan anahtar kelime Suriyeli öğrencidir. Araştırmaya dahil edilen makalelerde en fazla karşılaşılan sonuç, dil ve iletişim sorunudur. Bu bağlamda en çok sunulan öneri ise yabancı uyruklu öğrenciler için dil eğitimi olmuştur. İncelenen araştırmalardan elde edilen bulgular doğrultusunda bu alanda çalışacak araştırmacılara önerilerde bulunulmuştur. It is thought that examining the academic studies conducted on foreign students at primary school level may be beneficial in terms of seeing the current situation, shedding light on new studies and increasing the quality of education services provided to foreign students in our country. The findings of this study consisted of 73 scientific articles that were accessed in the databases (Google Akademik, Sobiad, Ulakbim, Dergipark, Academia, Research Gate, Educational Resources Information Center (ERIC) and Taylor & Francis Online) as of the start of the study and were suitable for the purpose of the study. Document analysis technique was used to collect data. From the databases accessed, all the articles meeting the predetermined criteria within the scope of the study were examined. A chart has been created for the purpose of classifying the reached articles in accordance with the determined criteria. The sections in this chart are; name of the study, year of publication, place of publication, keywords, purpose, approach, model, sample, data collection tool, results and recommendations. The data were analyzed using the content analysis method and the studies were described. Considering the results of the research, the most studies were reached in 2020. It was determined that the most qualitative research approach was preferred in the studies, and the case study and phenomenology methods were mostly used as the research model. It has been seen that most of the teachers are worked with, and more interview forms are preferred to collect data. The most common purpose in the researches examined was problem detection and solution suggestions. The most used keyword in the articles is Syrian student. The most common result in the articles included in the research is the language and communication problem. The most common recommendation in the reviewed studies was language education for foreign students. Suggestions were presented in line with the findings obtained from the researches examined.
