Abstract
Bu araştırma, genç yetişkinlerde flört şiddetini kabul ile bağlanma ve sosyal destek arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Veriler, araştırmacı tarafından toplanmış ve verilerin toplanmasına geçmeden önce öğrencilere çalışma ile ilgili bilgilendirme yapılmıştır. Araştırmada, öğrencilerin flört şiddetini kabul düzeylerini ölçmek amacıyla Flört Şiddetini Kabul Ölçeği, öğrencilerin bağlanma tarzlarını belirlemek amacıyla İlişki Ölçekleri Anketi ve öğrencilerin sosyal destek düzeylerini belirlemek amacıyla Çok Boyutlu Algılanan Sosyal Destek Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2018-2019 eğitim öğretim yılında İnönü Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesinde öğrenim gören 288 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Verilerin analizinde betimsel istatistikler, t testi, varyans analizi ve basit doğrusal korelasyon analizi kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonucunda öğrencilerin flört şiddetini kabul düzeyleri ile saplantılı bağlanma arasında pozitif yönde düşük düzeyde anlamlı bir ilişki ve düşük düzeyde ve algılanan sosyal destek ile arasında negatif yönlü düşük düzeyde anlamlı ilişkilerinin olduğu belirlenmiştir. Araştırmadan elde edilen diğer bir bulgu ise cinsiyete göre öğrencilerin flört şiddetini kabul düzeyleri arasında anlamlı bir farklılık olduğudur. Elde dilen bulgular alanyazın ışığında tartışılmış ve önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
This study was conducted to examine the relationship between acceptance of dating violence in young adults, attachment, and social support. The data were collected by the researcher and the students were informed about the study before proceeding with the data collection. In the study, the Acceptance of Dating Violence Scale was used to measure students 'level of acceptance of dating violence, the Relationship Scales Questionnaire to determine students' attachment styles, and the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support to determine the social support levels of the students. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between acceptance of dating violence, attachment, and social support in young adults. The data were collected from students at İnönü University Faculty of Education, after informing them about the study. The Acceptance of Dating Violence Scale, Relationship Scales Questionnaire, and Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support were used to measure acceptance of dating violence, attachment styles, and social support levels, respectively. The study included 288 students in the 2018-2019 academic year. Descriptive statistics, t-tests, analysis of variance, and simple linear correlation analyses were used to analyze the data. The results showed a low positive and low significant relationship between acceptance of dating violence and obsessive attachment, as well as negative low significant relationships with low perceived social support. Additionally, there was a significant difference in acceptance of dating violence between genders. The findings were discussed in the context of previous literature and recommendations were provided.
