Kadrosu, yaşlı bakımı programında bulunan akademik personel ve bu personelin meslek dağılımıyla ilgili bilgiler, üniversitelerin resmî internet sayfalarından elde edildi. Araştırmada, yaşlı bakımı programlarında bulunan akademik personelin mezun oldukları lisans bölümleri dikkate alındı. Verilerin analizinde, SPSS 23 programı kullanıldı. Bulgular: Elde edilen verilere göre 2019 yılında devlet üniversitelerinde toplam 67 yaşlı bakımı programı, 1. öğretim düzeyinde öğrenci kabul etmiştir. Bazı üniversitelerin bünyesinde birden fazla yaşlı bakımı programı mevcuttur. Bu programlarda, farklımesleklere mensup toplam 202 akademisyen görev almaktadır.
