Müzik Öğretmeni ve Müzik Öğretmeni Adaylarının Seslendirme Sistemlerinin Kullanımına İlişkin Görüşleri

Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine the views of music teachers and pre-service music teachers regarding the use of sound reinforcement systems, and to identify the problems encountered, needs, and solution suggestions based on these views. The study was conducted using a qualitative research approach with a case study design. The study group consists of 15 in-service music teachers working in public schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education in the city center and districts of Trabzon, and 15 pre-service music teachers studying in their final year at the Department of Music Education, Fatih Faculty of Education, Trabzon University, during the 2024–2025 academic year. The research data were collected through a semi-structured interview form developed by the researcher and analyzed using the content analysis method. The findings revealed that the majority of both music teachers and pre-service music teachers did not receive systematic and practice-oriented training on the use of sound reinforcement systems during their undergraduate education. Participants stated that they frequently have to use sound reinforcement systems in school events, ceremonies, and stage performances; however, they do not consider themselves technically competent in this area. The results of the study indicate that knowledge and skills related to sound reinforcement systems are mostly acquired through individual effort, personal experience, and environmental support. In addition, participants emphasized the need to include practice-based courses on sound reinforcement systems and music technologies in undergraduate music teacher education programs. Based on the findings, recommendations were developed, including the introduction of courses on sound reinforcement systems during undergraduate education, the expansion of in-service training programs, the preparation of instructional guide materials, and the assignment of expert trainer teachers in this field.Bu araştırmanın amacı, müzik öğretmenleri ile müzik öğretmeni adaylarının seslendirme sistemlerinin kullanımına ilişkin görüşlerini belirlemek ve bu görüşler doğrultusunda yaşanan sorunları, ihtiyaçları ve çözüm önerilerini ortaya koymaktır. Araştırma, nitel araştırma yaklaşımlarından durum çalışması deseniyle yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, 2024–2025 eğitim-öğretim yılında Trabzon ili ve ilçelerinde Millî Eğitim Bakanlığına bağlı okullarda görev yapan 15 müzik öğretmeni ile Trabzon Üniversitesi Fatih Eğitim Fakültesi Müzik Öğretmenliği bölümü son sınıfta öğrenim gören 15 müzik öğretmeni adayı oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın verileri, araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu aracılığıyla toplanmış; elde edilen veriler içerik analizi yöntemiyle analiz edilmiştir. Bulgular, müzik öğretmenleri ve müzik öğretmeni adaylarının büyük çoğunluğunun lisans eğitimleri sürecinde seslendirme sistemlerinin kullanımına yönelik sistematik ve uygulamalı bir eğitim almadıklarını ortaya koymuştur. Katılımcılar, okul etkinlikleri, törenler ve sahne performanslarında seslendirme sistemlerini sıklıkla kullanmak zorunda kaldıklarını, ancak bu konuda kendilerini teknik açıdan yeterli görmediklerini ifade etmişlerdir. Araştırma sonuçları, seslendirme sistemlerine ilişkin bilgi ve becerilerin çoğunlukla bireysel çaba, deneyim ve çevresel destek yoluyla edinildiğini göstermektedir. Ayrıca katılımcılar, müzik öğretmenliği lisans programlarında seslendirme sistemleri ve müzik teknolojilerine yönelik uygulamalı derslerin yer alması gerektiğini vurgulamışlardır. Çalışma sonucunda, lisans döneminde seslendirme sistemleri kullanımı ile ilgili ders açılması, hizmet içi eğitimlerin yaygınlaştırılması, rehber materyallerin hazırlanması ve alanda uzman formatör öğretmenlerin görevlendirilmesine yönelik öneriler geliştirilmiştir.
