Sporcu Kimliğine Sahip Lise Öğrencilerinin Değer Yönelimleri

Abstract

Sporcu bireyin, pozitif sporculuk yaşamı ve içinde bulunduğu sosyal yapıda yer alan diğer bireylerin desteğini alması, güçlü nitelikte bir sporcu kimliğine sahip olmasında oldukça etkilidir. Sporcu bireyin çeşitli sosyo-psikolojik davranışlarına etkide bulunan sporcu kimliği, bilişsel yapı dahilinde onu yönlendiren önemli bir güçtür. Bireyin güçlü bir sporcu kimliğine sahip olması onun yaşamında önemli etkilere sahip olmakla birlikte, aynı zamanda psikolojik, sosyal ve davranışsal olguları yorumlaması ve değer yönelimleri üzerinde de oldukça etkili bir durumdur. Bu sebepten dolayı bireyin sporcu kimliği ile değer yönelimleri arasındaki ilişki, araştırılması gereken bir konu olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Bu araştırmada lisanslı olarak farklı spor branşlarında spor yapan lise öğrencilerinde sporcu kimliği ile değer yönelimi arasındaki ilişkinin analiz edilmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Bu araştırma, sporcu kimliğine sahip ergenlik dönemindeki bireylerde değer yönelimi üzerindeki etkisinin ortaya konulması, çeşitli sosyo-demografik değişkenlere göre sporcu kimliği ile değer yönelimi arasındaki ilişkinin analiz edilmesi ve farklı spor branşlarının sporcu kimliği üzerinden değer yönelimine olan etkisinin araştırılması bakımından önem arz etmektedir. Araştırmanın evrenini Trabzon ilinde eğitim gören ve lisanslı olarak farklı spor dallarında spor yapan lise öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini ise Trabzon Merkez okullarında eğitim gören ve lisanslı olarak farklı spor dallarında spor yapan lise öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama yöntemi olarak anket tekniği kullanılacaktır. Bu kapsamda katılımcılara Brewer ve Cornelius (2001) tarafından geliştirilen ve Öztürk ve Koca (2013) tarafından Türkçeye uyarlanan 'Sporcu Kimliği Ölçeği' ve Yıldız ve Güven (2021) tarafından geliştirilen 'Sporcu Değer Yönelimi Ölçeği' uygulanacaktır. Veri analizinde SPSS 21 paket programından yararlanılacaktır. Verilerin analizinde, frekans, aritmetik ortalama, standart sapma, t-testi, Pearson Correlation testi, tek yönlü varyans analizi, Post-Hoc test istatistikleri testlerinden yararlanılacaktır. Bu araştırmada lisanslı olarak farklı spor branşlarında spor yapan lise öğrencilerinde sporcu kimliği ile değer yönelimi arasındaki ilişki analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucuna göre sporcu kimliği ile sporcu değer yönelimi arasında anlamlı bir ilişkinin olduğu görülmektedir. The identity of the athlete, which affects various socio-psychological behaviors of the athlete, is an important force that directs him within the cognitive structure. Having a strong athlete identity has important effects on his life, but it is also very effective on his interpretation of psychological, social and behavioral phenomena and value orientations. For this reason, the relationship between the individual's athlete identity and value orientations is a subject that needs to be investigated. In this study, it is aimed to analyze the relationship between athlete identity and value orientation in high school students who do sports in different sports branches under license. This research is important in terms of revealing the effect on value orientation in adolescents with athlete identity, analyzing the relationship between athlete identity and value orientation according to various socio-demographic variables, and investigating the effect of different sports branches on value orientation through athlete identity. The universe of the research consists of high school students studying in Trabzon and doing sports in different sports branches under license. The sample of the research consists of high school students studying in Trabzon Central schools and doing sports in different sports branches under license. Questionnaire technique will be used as data collection method in the research. In this context, the 'Athlete Identity Scale' developed by Brewer and Cornelius (2001) and adapted into Turkish by Öztürk and Koca (2013) and the 'Athlete Value Orientation Scale' developed by Yıldız and Güven (2021) will be applied to the participants. SPSS 21 package program will be used in data analysis. In the analysis of the data, frequency, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, t-test, Pearson Correlation test, one-way analysis of variance, Post-Hoc test statistics tests will be used. In this study, the relationship between athlete identity and value orientation was analyzed in high school students who do sports in different sports branches under license. According to the results of the research, it is seen that there is a significant relationship between athlete identity and athlete value orientation. In this context, it has been concluded that high school students with an athlete identity have a high athlete value.
