Yapay Zekâ, Din ve Toplum Etkileşimi

Abstract

Din ve toplum, tarih boyunca pek çok değişim sürecinin etkisi altında kalmıştır. Sanayi Devrimi'yle hızlanan endüstrileşme, nihayetinde dijitalleşme çağını başlatmış ve insanlık için yeni bir dönemin kapılarını aralamıştır. Yapay zekâ, bu dijitalleşme sürecinin ileri safhalarından biri olarak bilincin dijitalleşmesi faaliyetini temsil etmektedir. Sahip olduğu yetenekler ve sürekli gelişen potansiyeliyle yapay zekâ, toplumsal hayatın pek çok alanında önemli dönüşümlere neden olmaktadır. Bu çalışmada yapay zekâ teknolojisinin din ve toplumla etkileşimleri, geçmişten bugüne ve geleceğe uzanan bir perspektifle ele alınmıştır. Yapay zekânın dinî ve toplumsal alanlarda nasıl bir rol oynadığını, hangi fırsatları sunduğunu ve ne tür tehditler barındırdığını açıklamak amaçlanmıştır. Dinî ve toplumsal hayat üzerindeki yapay zekâ etkilerini doğru anlamak, gelecekte karşılaşılabilecek fırsatlara hazırlıklı olmak ve olası riskleri en aza indirmek için büyük önem taşımaktadır. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman inceleme tekniği kullanılmış ve elde edilen veriler, amaca uygun olarak detaylı bir içerik analizine tabi tutulmuştur. Bu çalışmada, yapay zekâ teknolojisinin farklı yönleri ve din-toplum etkileşimi genel hatlarıyla incelenmiştir. İlk olarak yapay zekânın tanımı yapılmış, işleyişi ve kullanım alanları açıklanmış, makine ile insan arasındaki etkileşimin boyutları ortaya konmuştur. Ardından yapay zekâ düşüncesinin tarihî, mitolojik, dinî, felsefi, bilimsel ve teknik temelleri genel hatlarıyla incelenmiştir. Bir sonraki aşamada, yapay zekânın bir bilim dalı olarak gelişim süreci değerlendirilmiş ve bu süreçte ortaya çıkan toplumsal tecrübeler üzerinde durulmuştur. Çalışmanın ikinci bölümünde ise teknoloji ve insan ilişkisini şekillendiren makineleşme ve dijitalleşme süreçlerinin toplumsal yapılar üzerindeki etkileri incelenmiştir. Bu bağlamda, endüstri toplumunun ve dijital toplumun temel özellikleri açıklanmış; dijitalleşmenin dinî hayata getirdiği değişimler 'dijital din' kavramı üzerinden ele alınmıştır. Son olarak, yapay zekânın toplumsal yapıyı dönüştürme potansiyeli üzerinde durulmuş ve din ile etkileşiminde sunduğu fırsatlar ve oluşturduğu tehditler irdelenmiştir. Bu çalışma, yapay zekâ, din ve toplum etkileşimini geçmişten günümüze uzanan bakış açısıyla ele alarak, özgün bir yaklaşım sergilemekte ve alandaki önemli bir boşluğu doldurmaktadır.Throughout history, religion and society have undergone various transformative processes. The industrialization accelerated by the Industrial Revolution eventually led to the digital age, opening new doors for humanity. Artificial intelligence represents one of the most advanced stages of this digitalization process, symbolizing the digitization of consciousness. With its capabilities and continuously evolving potential, artificial intelligence has brought significant transformations to many aspects of social life. This study examines the interactions between artificial intelligence technology, religion, and society from a historical and future-oriented perspective. The aim is to explain the role of artificial intelligence in religious and social spheres, highlighting the opportunities it presents and the potential threats it poses. Understanding the impacts of artificial intelligence on religious and social life is crucial for preparing for future opportunities and minimizing possible risks. The study uses qualitative research methods, specifically document analysis, and the collected data have been subjected to detailed content analysis in line with the research objective. In this study, the various dimensions of artificial intelligence technology and its interaction with religion and society are comprehensively analyzed. First, the definition, functioning, and applications of artificial intelligence are explained, along with the dimensions of the interaction between humans and machines. Next, the historical, mythological, religious, philosophical, scientific, and technical foundations of artificial intelligence thought are explored in broad terms. In the following section, the development of artificial intelligence as a scientific field is assessed, with attention to the societal experiences that emerged during this process. In the second part of the study, the impact of mechanization and digitalization processes, which shape the relationship between technology and humans, on social structures is examined. In this context, the key characteristics of industrial society and digital society are discussed, and the transformations brought by digitalization to religious life are addressed through the concept of 'digital religion.' Finally, the potential of artificial intelligence to transform social structures is emphasized, and the opportunities and threats it presents in its interaction with religion are analyzed. This study offers a comprehensive perspective on the interaction between artificial intelligence, religion, and society, spanning from the past to the present and into the future. It presents an original approach and fills a significant gap in the field.
