Abstract
Bu çalışma, matematik eğitimi alanında öğretmenlerin 'fark etme' becerisini konu alan araştırmaların 2020-2024 yılları arasındaki ulusal ve uluslararası alan yazındaki eğilimlerini incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Sistematik derleme yöntemi kullanılarak, belirlenen ölçütlere uygun bilimsel makaleler betimsel içerik analizi ile değerlendirilmiştir. Fark etme becerisi konusunda Academic Search Complete, ERIC (EBSCO), Springer LINK, Taylor & Francis, Wiley Online Library Full Collection, Science Direct, Sage Premier 2013, Emerald ve Scopus (A&I), Tr Dizin veri tabanları taranmıştır.
This study aims to examine the trends in the national and international literature between 2020 and 2024 on teachers' 'noticing' skills in mathematics education. Using the systematic review method, scientific articles that meet the specified criteria were evaluated by descriptive content analysis. Academic Search Complete, ERIC (EBSCO), Springer LINK, Taylor & Francis, Wiley Online Library Full Collection, Science Direct, Sage Premier 2013, Emerald and Scopus (A&I), Tr Index databases were searched. Articles published in SSCI indexed journals were included in the study. Descriptive content analysis method was preferred for the articles included in the study, including the journals in which they were published, the impact factors of the journals in which they were published, their aims, methods, data collection tools, samples, mathematics topics examined, results obtained and interventions applied. This study was analyzed by thematization/categorization. The research findings revealed that most of the studies were conducted with teachers and pre-service teachers, qualitative methods were more commonly used, and mixed methods have increased in recent years. As a result of the research, it was determined that studies to develop noticing skills were generally conducted through video-based teaching tools, technology-supported methods and professional development programs. These studies emphasize that noticing skill plays a critical role especially in teachers' processes of analyzing student thinking and shaping their teaching strategies accordingly. In addition, there were also studies examining how cultural and environmental factors affect teachers' noticing skills. Video recordings were the most preferred data collection tool in the studies reviewed. The findings suggest that innovative methods, especially the use of 360-degree video, virtual classroom practices, and ambisonic audio technologies, are effective in improving teachers' noticing skills. This systematic review provides a comprehensive overview of the research on noticing skills in mathematics education, identifying gaps in the literature and suggestions for future research.
