An Investigation on the Opinions of Parents Who Have Their Children Take Amateur Music Training

Abstract

Bu araştırmada çocuklarına özengen müzik eğitimi aldıran velilerin bu eğitime ilişkin görüşlerinin farklı değişkenler aracılığı ile incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu doğrultuda Trabzon il ve ilçelerindeki özel ve milli eğitim bakanlığına bağlı çeşitli müzik kurslarında, halk eğitim merkezlerinde ve müzik eğitimcilerinden çocuklarına özel müzik dersi(özengen) aldıran velilerle yürütülmüştür. Alan taraması yöntemi tercih edilerek yürütülen araştırma kapsamında geçerlik güvenirlik çalışmaları yürütülmüş olan anket formu ile veriler toplanmıştır. İki bölümlü hazırlanmış olan anket demografik bilgiler ve velilerin özengen müzik eğitimine karşı beklentilerine, tutumlarına ve öğrencilerin özengen müzik eğitim sürecinde, onlara verdikleri desteklerine yönelik sorulardan oluşmaktadır. Çalışmada çocuklarına özel müzik dersi aldıran velilerin görüşlerini saptamak için özengen müzik eğitimi veren kurumlardan rastgele 280 aileye uygulanmış 29 soruluk bir anket uygulanmıştır.This study investigates parental opinions concerning amateur music training that their children take through different variables. In this sense, the study was conducted on parents who have their children receive amateur music lessons from private music courses or various courses by the Ministry of National Education in Trabzon city and its districts, public education centers, and music tutors. Within the framework of research design, an opinion survey included in Appendix 1 was conducted on the parents. The questionnaire, which was prepared in two parts, consists of demographic information and questions about the expectations and attitudes of the parents towards amateur music education and the support they give to their childrenduring this training process. In an attempt to determinethe opinions of parents who provide private music lessons for their children, the questionnaire consisting of 29 items was applied to 280 parents randomly selected from institutionsgiving amateur music training.
