Zygmunt Bauman'ın Din ve Toplum Görüşleri

Abstract

'Zygmunt Bauman'ın Din ve Toplum Görüşleri' adlı bu çalışmada, 'Zygmunt Bauman'ın dine bakışı ve yaklaşımı nedir?' ile 'Zygmunt Bauman'ın topluma bakışı ve yaklaşımı nedir?' soruları temel problemi oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, nitel araştırma yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Betimsel analiz ve içerik analizi kullanılan bu çalışma, Zygmunt Bauman'ın din ve toplum görüşlerinin, modern gelişmelerle sıkı bir ilişki içerisinde olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır. Modernleşme, postmodernleşme, küreselleşme, bireyselleşme ve kimlik- benlik olguları bir bütünlük içerisindedir. Bu anlamda modern gelişmeler, dinî ve toplumsal alanda değişimlerin meydana gelmesine sebep olmaktadır. Netice itibarıyla dini inançların zayıflaması, cemaatlerin görünüm değiştirmeleri ve ahlak-etik alanında farklılaşma doğrudan doğruya toplumda meydana gelen değişimlere bağlıdır. Toplumların üretici toplumdan tüketici topluma geçmesi, bireylerin toplum içindeki konumlarını, ahlaki ilkelerini ve ölüm olgusuna bakışlarını etkilemektedir. Bu anlamda, Bauman'ın din ve toplumu beraber değerlendirdiğini ve küresel düzeyde meydana gelen her modern değişimin dini ve toplumu da doğrudan etkilediğini düşündüğü sonucuna ulaşmaktayız.In this study called 'Zygmunt Bauman's Views on Religion and Society', 'what is Zygmunt Bauman's view and approach to religion?' with 'What is Zygmunt Bauman's view and approach to society?' questions constitute the main problem. Qualitative research methods were used in this study. This study, which used descriptive and content analysis, reveals that Zygmunt Bauman's views on religion and society are closely related to modern developments. The phenomena of modernization, postmodernization, globalization, individualization and identity-self are in a unity. In this sense, modern developments cause changes in religion and society. As a result, the weakening of religious beliefs, the changes in the appearance of the communities and moral-ethics are directly dependent on the changes that occur in the society. The transition of societies from a productive society to a consumer society affects the position of individuals in society, their moral principles and their view of death. In this sense, we come to the conclusion that Bauman evaluates religion and society together and thinks that every modern change that occurs at the global level directly affects religion and society.
