Abstract

In this case report, the care of a patient with prostate cancer was eval- uated. 11 nurs ing diagnoses, 18 nurs ing interventions and 11 nurs ing outcomes were determined by the researchers in an internal medicine clinic for seven days. The case was evaluated twice within a week, on the day the first data were obtained and the day before discharge. The case was d iagnosed according to 12 l ife activities and individualized nursing care was planned by prov iding complete data collect ion. The impact of the initiatives under the plan; evaluated with five-point Lik- ert type NOC scales related to nursing diagnoses. According to the eval- uation made w ith the scales, the increase in the NOC score in each diagnosis at the second evaluat ion showed that the care/ interventions provided were effective and provided a systematic evaluation.
