Abstract
Bu çalışma, genç sporcuların tibialis anterior kasına uygulanan kinezyo bantlamanın Y denge testi üzerindeki akut etkilerini araştırmayı amaçlamıştır. Araştırma grubunu kırk iki erkek futbol oyuncusu oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmaya katılan bireylerin yaş, vücut ağırlığı, boy uzunluğu ve vücut kitle indeksi değerleri 16,45 ± 0,75 yıl, 70 ± 6,67 kg,178,93 ± 6,18 cm ve 21,83 ± 1,15 kg/m2'dir. Çalışmada sporcuların dinamik dengesinin değerlendirilmesi için Y denge testi kullanıldı. Bantlama öncesinde sporculara denge testi yapıldı ve sonuçlar kaydedildi. Kinezyo bant uygulaması tibialis anterior kasına fasilitasyon tekniği ile uygulanmıştır. Kinezyo bantlamadan sonra tekrar denge testi yapıldı. Çalışma nicel araştırmaya göre planlanmış, deneysel araştırma modellerinden biri olan ön test-son test kontrol grupsuz deneysel desen türü oluşturmaktadır. Bu sporculara ön test-son test şeklinde uygulama yapılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler SPSS 25.0 programı kullanılarak analiz edildi. Elde edilen sonuçlar incelendiğinde verilerin dağılımların normal düzeyde belirlendiğinden parametrik test teknikleri tercih edilmiştir. Bununla beraber araştırma grubuyla ilgili istatistik teknikleri (standart sapma, aritmetik ortalama, minimum, maksimum) tercih edilmiştir.
This study aimed to investigate the acute effects of kinesio taping applied to the tibialis anterior muscle of young athletes on the Y balance test. The research group consists of forty-two male football players. The age, body weight, height and body mass index values of the individuals participating in the study were 16.45 ± 0.75 years, 70 ± 6.67 kg, 178.93 ± 6.18 cm and 21.83 ± 1.15 kg/m2. In the study, Y balance test was used to evaluate the dynamic balance of the athletes. Before taping, the athletes were given a balance test and the results were recorded. Kinesio tape application was applied to the tibialis anterior muscle with the facilitation technique. After kinesio taping, the balance test was performed again. The study was planned according to quantitative research and constitutes a pretest-posttest experimental design type without a control group, which is one of the experimental research models. These athletes were administered a pretest-posttest. The data obtained was analyzed using SPSS 25.0 program. When the results obtained were examined, parametric testing techniques were preferred since the distributions of the data were determined to be normal. However, statistical techniques relevant to the research group (standard deviation, arithmetic mean, minimum, maximum) were preferred. Paired samples T-test was performed to determine the significance of the difference between the results obtained. When the data before and after kinesio taping were compared, a significant difference was detected in the right anterior, right posteriomedial and left posteriolateral aspects of the Y balance test (p<0.05). No significant difference was detected in the right posteriolateral, left anterior and left posteriolateral aspects of the Y balance test (p>0.05). Considering the results of this study, it has been shown that kinesio taping applied to the tibialis anterior muscle in young football players has a positive effect on dynamic balance.
