İlkokul Öğrencilerine Yönelik Zaman Ölçme Konusunda Zenginleştirilmiş Öğretim Ortamı Tasarlama ve Uygulama

Abstract

The main purpose of this study is to third grade primary school students time in the math class measurement sub-learning outcomes enriched education for is to design and implement the environment.Designed enriched instruction activities used in the environment third grade ''Time Measurement''sub-available in the learning area to cover the gains prepared.Quantitative method and qualitative data are used together from mixed methods design illustrative sequential pattern model has been used. The study is quantitative poor experimental method in the part preferably on a single group prepared achievement test pre-test-post qualitative when applied as a test with a case study in size students' opinions about the process an attempt was made tp determine the qualitative and quantitative data from a single study was obtained from the group. Study group,2023-2024 academic year Trabzon in the second semester of the year located in the central district of the province 18 students studying in the 3/B branch of the primary school.It consist of 6 students.A. Data were collected using quantitative and qualitative data collection tools in accordance with the explanatory sequential design. While the''Achievement Test''prepared by the researcher was used as the quantitative data collection tool, the ''Semi-Structured Intreview Form''also prepared by the researcher and the students' ''Student Diaries''were used as the qualitative data collection tools.In the analysis of the quantitative data obtained in the study, statistical analysis was conducted using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test and the effect size was calculated.Qualitative data analysis was also conducted using content analysis.According to the results obtained after the data analysis ,it was concluded that this enriched study designed and implemented for the subject of ''Measuring Time''saved the subject of them from abstraction and facilitated learning.After the application the groups success in measuring time increased.A positive difference was detected between the the pre-test and post-test scores. Students expressed that the subject of ''Measuring Time,'' which was perceived as complex and difficult by students, became more and difficult by students, became more enjoyable with enriched learning environments.Enriching learning environments reduced students'tendency to perceive the relevant mathematical subject as difficult and complex, contributing to a more positive transformation in this perception.This enriched learning environment design serves as an example for teachers and practitioners in the context of mathematics instruction.Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, ilkokul üçüncü sınıf öğrencilerinin matematik dersindeki zaman ölçme alt öğrenme kazanımlarına yönelik zenginleştirilmiş öğretim ortamı tasarlamak ve uygulamaktır. Tasarlanan zenginleştirilmiş öğretim ortamında kullanılan etkinlikler üçüncü sınıf 'Zaman Ölçme' alt öğrenme alanında yer alan mevcut kazanımları kapsayacak şekilde hazırlanmıştır. Yöntem olarak nicel ve nitel verilerin beraber kullanıldığı karma yöntem desenlerinden açıklayıcı ardışık desen modeli kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın nicel kısmında zayıf deneysel yöntem tercih edilerek tek grup üzerinde hazırlanan başarı testi ön test-son test olarak uygulanırken nitel boyutunda da durum çalışması ile öğrencilerin sürece dair görüşleri belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Nitel ve nicel veriler tek bir çalışma grubundan elde edilmiştir. Çalışma grubunu, 2023-2024 eğitim-öğretim yılı ikinci döneminde Trabzon ili Merkez ilçesinde bulunan bir ilkokulun 3/B şubesinde okuyan 18 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Açıklayıcı ardışık desene uygun olarak nicel ve nitel veri toplama araçları kullanılarak veriler elde edilmiştir. Araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan 'Başarı Testi' nicel veri toplama aracı olarak kullanılırken yine araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan 'Yarı Yapılandırılmış Görüşme Formu' ve öğrencilere ait olan 'Öğrenci Günlükleri' de nitel veri toplama aracı olarak kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen nicel verilerin analizinde Wilcoxon İşaretli Sıralar Testi kullanılarak istatiksel analizi yapılmış ve etki büyüklüğü hesaplanmıştır. İçerik analizi ile de nitel verilerin analizi gerçekleştirilmiştir. Verilerin analiz edilmesinden sonra ulaşılan sonuçlara göre 'Zaman Ölçme' konusuna yönelik tasarlanan ve uygulanan bu zenginleştirilmiş çalışma, zaman konusunu soyutluktan kurtarıp öğrenmeleri kolaylaştırdığı sonucuna varılmıştır. Uygulama sonrasında grubun zaman ölçme konusundaki başarısı artmıştır. Ön test ve son test puanları arasında pozitif anlamda bir farklılık tespit edilmiştir. Öğrenciler için karışık ve güç olarak görülen 'Zaman Ölçme' konusunun zenginleştirilmiş öğretim ortamları ile eğlenceli bir hale geldiği öğrenciler tarafından dile getirilmiştir. Öğretim ortamlarının zenginleştirilmesi öğrencilerin ilgili matematik konusunu öğrenilmesi güç ve karmaşık olarak değerlendirme eğilimlerini azaltarak, bu algının daha olumlu bir biçimde dönüşmesine katkı sağlamıştır. Uygulanan bu zenginleştirilmiş öğretim ortamı tasarımı matematik dersi bağlamında öğretmenler ve uygulayıcılar için bir örnek niteliğindedir.
