Türkiye'de Çağdaş Sanat Pratiklerinde Parodi ve Pastiş

Abstract

Bugün artık 'güncel' olarak ta tanımlanan çağdaş sanatta, sanatçıların geçmişteki dönemlerden ya da birbirlerinden etkilenmeleri kaçınılmaz olmuştur. Sanat içinde yadırganmayan bu durum, etkilenmenin biçimsel şekli ve miktarı, üretilen yeninin sanat içerisindeki konumunu belirlemektedir. Çağdaş sanatta alıntılama biçimlerinden olan parodi ve pastiş bu yönelimlerden olmuştur. 'Türkiye'de Çağdaş Sanat Pratiklerinde Parodi ve Pastiş' başlıklı bu çalışmanın amacı bugün sıklıkla karşımıza çıkan ifade biçimlerinden olan parodi ve pastişi günümüz Türk resim sanatında eserlerinde kullanan sanatçıları bir araya getirerek, sanattaki bu yeni ifade biçimlerinin Türkiye'deki yansımasını incelemektir. Bu amaçla çağdaş sanat kavramına ve pratiklerine değinilmiş, ardından parodi ve pastiş kavramına yer verilerek, Türkiye'de çağdaş sanat oluşumlarına genel bir bakış yapılmıştır. Bu bilgiler ışığında bugün ülkemizde eserlerinde parodi ve pastiş yönelimlerine yer veren sanatçılar araştırılmaya çalışılarak sanat pratikleri incelenmiştir. Parodi ve pastiş yöntemini kullanan ülkemizdeki sanatçılar hakkında detaylı bir araştırma ortaya konulması bakımından, günümüz Türk resim sanatı araştırmalarına katkı sağlayacağı düşünülen bu çalışmada, Nitel araştırma yöntemi benimsenmiş olup konuyla ilgili basılı ve elektronik kaynakların yanı sıra sergi broşürleri ve kataloglardan da yararlanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucu otuz sanatçıya ulaşılmış olup, batı sanatında yer verilen bu eğilimin ülkemizde de benimsenerek sanat üretimlerinde yoğun olarak kullanıldığı görülmüştür.In contemporary art, which is now defined as 'up to date', it is inevitable that artists are influenced by past periods or each other.In the case of this unrelying effect within art, the form and quantity of impact are determined in the form of the new in art.Parody and Pastiche, which are forms of citation in contemporary art, have been one of these trends. The aim of this study, titled 'Parody and Pastiche in Contemporary Art Practices in Turkey', is to examine the reflection of this new form of expression in art in Turkey, by bringing together the artists who use parody and pastiche, which are frequently encountered today, in their works in today's Turkish painting art.For this purpose, the concept of contemporary art and its practices were mentioned, and then the concept of Parody and Pastiche was given, and an overview of contemporary art formations in Turkey was made.In the light of this information, the artists who include parody and pastiche tendencies in their works in today's Turkish painting art were researched and their art practices were examined.In this study, which is thought to contribute to contemporary Turkish painting art studies in terms of revealing a detailed research about the artists in our country, using parody and pastiche, which are a new form of expression in art, has been adopted, and besides the printed and electronic sources related to the subject, exhibition brochures and catalogs have also been used.As a result of the research, thirty artists were reached, and it was seen that this trend, which is included in western art, was adopted in our country and used extensively in art productions.
