The Evaluation Of Primary School Teachers’ Of 2023’S Education Vision Views On The Politics About Their Professional Development

Abstract

This study aim stode termine thoughts of teachers about the policies of professional development of the teachers in 2023 education vision document. In the research, in which qualitative research approach has been applicied, 20 primary school teachers selected by means of convenient case sampling have been included. Semi-structured interview shave been designed and data achieved from interview have been examined via content analysis. At the end of the analyses, it has been concluded that teachers show a positive approach to masterdegree education for their professional development and for implementation of career stages, yet they suggest that the aim plementation is product oriented. Additionally, teachers indicate that they should be trained for their professional development thanks to the cooperation between universities and NGO’s if the convenient conditions are provided. Teachers who do not approve the fact that supervisors assess them also suggest that they should be assessed with long term observations, and the professional development be ensured with in service training if the convenient conditions are provided.
