Abstract

Araştırma sonunda elde edilen verilerin istatistiksel analizi için IBM SPSS 23 (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) paket programı ve Microsoft Excel 2010 kullanılmıştır. Verilerin normal dağılıma uygunluğunun test edilmesinde Kolmogorov-Smirnov sınaması, iki kategorili bağımsız değişkenlerin karşılaştırılmasında Independent Samples t-testi, ikiden çok kategorili bağımsız değişkenlerin karşılaştırılmasında One-Way ANOVA testi, gruplar arası karşılaştırmalar için post-hoc testleri, tutarlılığın test edilmesinde Cronbach's Alpha güvenilirlik analizi yapılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgular incelendiğinde ortaokul kademesinde görev yapan müzik öğretmenlerinin aktif öğrenmeye yönelik algıları ile lise kademesinde çalışan müzik öğretmenlerinin aktif öğrenmeye yönelik algılarının ortalaması arasında istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı bir farklılık görülmezken; cinsiyet, meslekteki hizmet yılı, öğrenim düzeyi ve yaş durumuna yönelik anlamlı bir farklılık olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgular doğrultusunda sonuçlar belirtilmiş ve öneriler sunulmuştur.
Music teachers' self-efficacy towards using active learning is important for their professional lives. In this study, it was aimed to examine music teachers' perceptions towards active learning. For this purpose, a literature review was conducted and then the findings obtained from the scale applied were analysed. In this research, a quantitative approach was adopted and the research was designed in the survey model, which is one of the descriptive research methods. The sample of the study consisted of 326 secondary and high school music teachers working within the Ministry of National Education, who were determined by convenient sampling method. 'Perception Scale for Active Learning' was used to obtain data in the study. IBM SPSS 23 (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) package programme and Microsoft Excel 2010 were used for statistical analysis of the data obtained at the end of the research. Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was used to test the suitability of the data for normal distribution, Independent Samples t-test was used to compare independent variables with two categories, One- Way ANOVA test was used to compare independent variables with more than two categories, post- hoc tests were used for comparisons between groups, and Cronbach's Alpha reliability analysis was used to test consistency. When the findings obtained from the research were analysed, it was found that there was no statistically significant difference between the scale score of the music teachers working at the secondary school level and the average scale score of the music teachers working at the high school level, while there was a significant difference in terms of gender, years of service in the profession, education level and age. In line with the findings obtained from the research, conclusions were stated and suggestions were presented.
