Abstract
The aim of the present study is to investigate the role of counselling self-efficacy, trait anxiety and trait hope in life satisfaction of novice counsellor supervisees. Data collection tools included the Personal Information Form, the CASES, the STAI-T, The Hope Scale and the SWLS. A hypothetical structural model was developed and tested for the fit to the data. According to research findings, counselling self-efficacy was found to have a significant indirect effect on life satisfaction through trait anxiety and trait hope. Trait anxiety and trait hope were concluded to have direct effects on life satisfaction of novice counsellor supervisees.
